Misty Mouse

Photobucket

Remember when I posted about Ruth a while back? Well I recently discovered the re-release from Fractal is completely sold out.

Combining the powerful talents of Thierry Müller and creatives Philippe Doray and Ruth Ellyeri, Ruth were a French synth/coldwave project. Their only LP, 1985's Polaroïd/Roman/Photo, remained hidden in obscurity until "Mots" and Polaroïd/Roman/Photo was released as a single 7" a few years ago and on two French wave comps, BIPPP and Jeunes Gens Modernes (a comp compiled by Agnes B!). After getting some airplay for a while by dj's all over the world, Ruth's music is now celebrated as essential to the synth pop genre.
