Limi's still keeping signature Japanese design light and fresh, mixing traditional European waistcoats, sailor trousers, film noir drama/glamour, English tweeds with draped layers (something Papa Yamamoto is a master in). Besides Ann D, Rodarte, Papa Yamomoto himself and a handfull of other designers, I think Limi is definately a new favorite.
I'm really digging thigh-high socks and stockings a la Anastase though instead of knee highs, but I love the styling for this show very much.
For some reason, I listened to Death in June while clicking through this show. I normally don't listen to them, but I'm enjoying Douglas Pearce's English, dooming baratone. I guess it is a sign of the times (I'm out looking for jobs in this market and it's hell).
