Girls always think mod means Edie Sedgwick, heavy eyeliner and stripes. But when you ask stylish guys about mod, they always seem to think of Paul Weller and "Blow Up." I like that a lot better.
If we didn't have guys like Paul, skinny cute boys wouldn't be wearing super tight pants, jean jackets and joining bands. I think it's safe to say "indie musicians" are in serious debt to him for getting them laid.

I love how Paul wanted to explore R&B and soul through the Style Council, a completely different sound from the pop punk of the Jam. The outcome is very sexy.
